It has been an interesting week with a great start and a terrible finish for the markets.  We know there is going to be volatility so I wouldn’t see it as much of a surprise.  I’ve written a lot lately, so I’ll just pass on this great video of Rob Arnott of Research Affiliates, one of the most respected investment gurus out there, discussing why 100% of his personal portfolio is invested in value stocks.  I very much agree with him and I think value is offering some of the best opportunities ever.  We just need to be patient and focus on owning financially strong companies that can survive the crisis.  This weekend is the Berkshire Annual meeting, which could be interesting to watch.  I’ll be discussing that next week and we have a bunch of earnings reports occurring as well.  I should have some research reports based on them.
