It looks like Apple (AAPL) is getting close to a release date on their TV product.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see it launched earlier than anticipated as Apple tends to under-promise and over-deliver. I’m also quite optimistic that they should be able to utilize their dominant technology infrastructure to deliver advertising that could add another revenue stream.  The future of Apple will depend on their ability to maintain their dominant footprint in the minds of consumers, and maintain their substantial gross margin advantage.  No technology company has been more successful than Apple, but given the current market capitalization I believe the risks of a screw up outweigh the upside potential when compared with other opportunities.
