This is an exceptional report on Loews Corp (L). CEO James Tisch. Tisch has an excellent investing track record and Loews is a company that we believe offers solid value at current prices. This insight into the inner working of Loews is really interesting. I’m very surprised he hasn’t been more aggressive allocating capital but I do understand that value of buying back your own stock at a large discount to intrinsic value so it’s tough to disagree with his logic.
