The roller coaster that is Yahoo (YHOO) has made an abrupt change of course bringing on Marissa Mayer from Google as its Chief Executive Officer. Mayer is very young (37) and she has a great background having been very successful in many of Google’s most important businesses. It is very important that Yahoo get’s this right so I’ll be excited to learn more about her vision. While Yahoo has made some nice headway in its dealing with Alibaba, I believe Google (GOOG) offers a much more compelling value at current prices.
