Avon Products (AVP) continues to struggle as increased costs are eroding margins. This is really a throwaway quarter for Avon as they are transitioning to a new CEO, and they are dealing with the bid from Coty. ¬†There is a lot of work to be done for this company and they really need to streamline their online strategy to make it more competitive in today’s retail environment. ¬†Avon’s international operations are the strength of the company so any improvements in the United States could really help the company’s bottom line.
