Originally from Pasadena, CA, Mario is the youngest of three children with hard working immigrant parent.  In Mario’s family, education was highly encouraged and deeply valued. After attending the college preparatory St. Francis of Assisi High School in La Canada, CA, Mario earned his civil engineering degree at the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine.

He then launched his professional career specializing in land development with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., a top, national award-winning engineering consulting firm. His clients ranged from private developers in the Southern California area to nationwide billion-dollar corporations such as Target Stores, Inc. During his tenure at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Mario discovered a true passion in the financial sector, educating individuals and most importantly, helping others succeed in life.

With over 15 years in consulting to private and public clients, Mario has proven his capability for leading teams and managing complex projects using excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. He has always been a fantastic communicator who refuses to become complacent and who thrives in an environment that offers challenge and growth opportunities.

Mario engages in educating and mentoring individuals, families, and businesses on the complexities of retirement planning to ensure his clients are in position to achieve financial security. He is a founding member of the City of Chula Vista Charitable Foundation and Commissioner of the City of Chula Vista Planning Commission.
